Bio:
After I graduated from Occidental I worked in a variety of roles but always found myself looking at scientific research. I longed for a job that gave me the opportunity to believe that I made a difference. At my current job I work with a small team to review and send out research projects between UCSF and other institutions. While I am not the one doing the research, it is great to see the different research projects that come in and know what faculty are studying. I want to be a part of the mentor network because I know that having great mentors are invaluable. I am where I am because of great mentors throughout my life and I want to provide that opportunity to others.
Career Advice:
Think about any skills that you are developing whatever stage you are at in your career. Also when you go in for interviews ask yourself if you felt it was genuine conversation.
