Bio:
Originally from Reno, NV, I currently serve as the Senior Director of Unscripted Development at Nickelodeon. Alongside my team, I develop and oversee a variety of projects, including series and specials like Unleashed, Top Elf, and Kid of the Year. Prior to Nickelodeon, I was Director of Original Unscripted Development at Endemol Shine North America and I also spent 4 years working in Programming and Development at my dream company, OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. I played an integral role in the development of several original series including Ready to Love, Mind Your Business with Mahisha, Released, and Checked Inn.
In my early career, I worked at companies like A. Smith and Company, Cartoon Network, and the I Have a Dream Foundation.
I am also a board member for HollywoodWEST, a networking group that supports rising women executives, and Black & Unscripted, a group for Black professionals working in various roles within the Unscripted genre.
Outside of work, I love to hike and take dance classes, volunteer with my church, and I am obsessed with London and all things Hamilton.
Career Advice:
There's a lot of advice I'd give but the main thing is that you are not desperate. Never make a decision you don't have peace about.
