Bio:
After graduating from Oxy I moved to San Francisco where I eventually landed in recruiting at Juniper Square. Recruiting wasn’t really something I intended to pursue, but after I kind of fell into it I realized it really played to my strengths and utilized my liberal arts education. I’m more than happy to chat more about my career path or just general career stuff!
Career Advice:
I read an article not too long ago that claimed that men will apply to a job if they think they meet about 60% of the criteria, while women will only apply if they think they meet 100%. I realized that I was doing that and really limiting myself because of it, so when I was looking for a new job I decided to apply to jobs like a man. I ended up landing my current position that I originally wasn’t sure if I was qualified for. My point being - you might be exactly what they’re looking for even if you don’t check every single box of the JD, but you won’t know if you don’t shoot your shot!
