Bio:
From Portland originally, I chose Oxy both for the excellent Economics department as well as the outstanding Track and Field program. I've spent time in both NYC and LA post grad, and plan on continuing to work across both geographies in future.
Career Advice:
Three things to always do (no downside):
1. Always solicit feedback, begin doing so as early as possible.
2. Always look for a way to connect personally with someone at the company you're applying to; recruiter, alumni, former colleague, etc.
3. Always aim to under-promise and over-deliver, especially when setting expectations with a client or boss.
