Bio:
I’m from Phoenix, Arizona, played soccer all my life but fell in love with track in high school, originally came to Oxy to study marine biology but switched to Kinesiology, currently on track to getting my doctorate degree in physical therapy. Passionate about ocean conservation and wildlife, coolest thing I’ve ever done is swim with humpback whales in the South Pacific. Also passionate about activism and liberation for black folks.
Career Advice:
Enjoy your time at Oxy and don’t stress too much about finding a career that’s 100% relevant/related to your major! It’s very common to study a unique subject at Oxy and then end up in a job that’s very unrelated but very rewarding. And then you’ll have experience in multiple avenues, making you extremely versatile and unique :)
