Bio:
I'm really passionate about gender and post-conflict peacebuilding. While I was at Oxy, I spent a summer in Colombia on a Young Initiative Grant to study the Colombian peace process, and then worked on peace and security at the United Kingdom Mission to the UN during the Oxy at the UN program. After graduating, I completed my masters degree in International Relations in London (focusing on international law and reparations), and then moved to Washington D.C., where I work on Latin American security analysis. I also love trail running, hiking, and blogging about gender.
Career Advice:
Don't worry about 'wasting time' by not starting in the perfect job right away; you're a human before you're an employee and finding ways to pursue your passions outside of work is never a waste of time.
